{"id":180,"name":"FRANCISCO MONTEIRO LOPES","url":"","description":"Born in June 2001.\r\n\r\nThe actor discovered his passion for performing at the age of seven and, from that moment on, sought to maintain a close connection with theatre by taking part in productions with amateur groups. At fifteen, he enrolled at the Cascais Professional Theatre School (2016\u20132019), where he received solid training in theatre.\r\n\r\nComplementing his formal education, he attended several courses and workshops over the years, including: an intensive theatre course at the Guildford School of Acting; an acting workshop with S\u00e9rgio Penna; and a Theatre Laboratory with Tiago Vieira, among others. He also has a strong interest and training in Ballroom Dance and movement.\r\n\r\nWith the Experimental Theatre of Cascais, he was part of the cast of several productions by the company: The Dream by August Strindberg (2019), Lulu by Frank Wedekind (2019), Camino Real by Tennessee Williams (2020), and Yerma by Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca (2020), all directed by Carlos Avilez; When Jesus Returned to Earth by Armando Martins Janeira, directed by Rodrigo Aleixo (2019); and Beatrix Cenci, written and directed by Gra\u00e7a P. Corr\u00eaa (2021).\r\n\r\nIn 2020, he performed the monologue A 20 de Novembro (The 20th of November) by Lars Nor\u00e9n, directed by Rodrigo Aleixo, touring several locations throughout 2020 and 2021 \u2013 a production which remains in circulation.\r\n\r\nIn 2021, he also took part in Terrorism by the Presniakov Brothers, directed by Leandro Paulin; The Pain of All Empty Streets, directed by Tiago Vieira; and TITUS, adapted and directed by Rui Neto.\r\n\r\nIn 2022, he co-produced and performed in El Duende Flamenco and Vou Falar de Ti a Toda a Gente, both produced by Teatro G\u00edria, and co-starred in the short film Tr\u00eas Chaves, directed by Nuno Franco.\r\n\r\nIn 2023, he performed in FREE, produced by Teatro G\u00edria, and Wild Flowers, directed by Rui Neto.
