AGATHE HASSENFORDER
FRANÇA
After having tasted production and then directing on set, I discovered casting in 2002 and started training with various renowned casting directors.
It is thanks to remarkable films such as “Les Choristes”, “Le Petit Nicolas” or “La Famille Bélier” that I specialized for years in the casting of children and teenagers.
Since 2012 I have devoted myself more to adults alongside directors such as Dominik Moll, Valérie Lemercier, Laurent Tirard in cinema, and many fictions for french TV or platforms as recently “Drops of God” for Apple TV directed by Oded Ruskin.

kate rhodes james
INGLATERRA
KATE RHODES JAMES set off to be an actress in the late 80’s to discover that being in front of the camera was not the best place for her. Kate was equipped for not much except a lifetime’s worth of watching television and going to the cinema. So, it seemed these skills would be best served assisting a Casting Director. Kate worked on the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles before being swept off her feet by Debbie McWilliams. Kate went on to assist Debbie on the Bond Films amongst many other projects and then Janey Fothergill where she worked on many television series and films. After 5 years of being an Assistant she was booted out and told to do it on her own, which she did, reluctantly.
Kate was blessed that one of her first projects was a comedy called COLD FEET which became a huge success in the UK. Kate went on to work with outstanding writers and directors on many television projects for the best part of 20 years that included The Lakes, Dirty Filthy Love, Blackpool, Alan Clarke Diaries, Bleak House, Line of Beauty, Low Winter Sun, Sense and Sensibility, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Into the Storm, Appropriate Adult, Sherlock, Line of Duty, The Missing, Ripper Street, Warrior, The Long Song. Kate works with Ridley Scott and has cast Raised by Wolves, The Last Duel, House of Gucci and Napoleon with Joaquin Phoenix (yet to be released).
